Volunteer at angor
Angor yn gymuned o unigolion amrywiol sydd o'r un meddwl ac yn deall yr effaith mae deiagnosis o afiechyd sy'n newid bywyd yn gallu ei gael ac sy'n rhannu'r awydd i alluogi ac i gefnogi trawsnewidiad unigolion trwy ddarparu gwasanaeth gynhwysol a holistig sy'n cynyddu gobaith a nerth ac yn creu llwybr o'r gwasanaethau clinigol yn ôl i'r gymuned.minded individuals from various walks of life who understand the impact that a life altering diagnosis can cause, and who aspire to enable and support the transformation of individuals by providing an informed and holistic service which builds hope and strength. Providing a pathway from clinical services back to the community.
What does volunteering involve?
- Welcoming clients at reception
- Making coffees and teas for clients . Ensuring clean supply of crockery available
- Stock control of beverages and stationery
- Signposting clients to various departments
- Ensuring environment is clean and well presented
- Making clients feel at ease on entering centre
- Undertaking training as part of your induction and ongoing training
- Maintaining client confidentiality for those attending centre
- Working with another volunteer on a rotation basis to support staff
- Time slots will be divided into morning or afternoon sessions
- You will be encouraged to wear angor teeshirt or poloshirt during hours of volunteering but this is not compulsory
- Helping individuals who wish to make donations or purchase items from the angor website
- You may be placed on a waiting list
- Your rota will be telephoned to you by our volunteers' co-ordinator based on your availability
